Constructed in Guelph, Ont. the house is the first completed as part of a national demonstration project which is trying to prove that Net Zero homes can be built on a community-level scale.

According to a release, the goal is to make Net Zero Energy homes that produce as much energy as they consume on an annual basis, fully accessible and affordable to Canadians.
